Built by Camper & Nicholson in 1971, Quailo III is a yacht steeped in history. She is modelled on the early GRP Nic 32 and the 35, vastly popular and successful little sailing yachts. It is evident that the the Nic 55 inherits much of the panache of the early Nicholson creations, while replicating a similar success story, but at the larger end of the yachting spectrum.
After spending her previous years as part of the Ministry of Defences adventure training program, Quailo III enters a new era under a new set of hands. Over a number of seasons the team at PSDesign will work to renovate and modernise, allowing for short handed cruising and IRC racing whilst maintaining the original style and feel of the yacht.
