The Fairlie 77 is large enough to operate both as a private yacht as well as in the charter market and she is as easy cruising oceans as she is competing in regattas.
The yacht is designed with two sail plans; for cruising a cutter headed yawl for ease of sail handling and elegant lines, or a more typical sloop rig with a hugely powerful foretriangle and mainsail for racing. With either sailplan the underwater hull form, keel and rudder will ensure she is extremely fast and her handling concise. The F77 can be fully fitted out for world cruising with all the engineering systems and comforts expected in today’s large yachts.
Two interior arrangements have been designed for the yacht; firstly with the master cabin forward and secondly with the master cabin aft incorporating a dedicated companionway access and private cockpit area. Both arrangements enjoy a separate crew area and can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins.
The hull can be constructed in aluminium or laminated timber depending on owner’s preference and she is fitted with an SG cast iron fin and lead bulb keel.
