Ripple was built in 1925 as a West Solent One Design by the Berthon Boat Company, designed by H G May. Ripple is now back at Berthons being completely restored to her former glory. The work is being undertaken by apprentices and PSD are helping with design. Ripple should be relaunched in 2020 and will be raced both in the Solent and the classic Med regattas.
Designed as a big sister to the Fairlie 55, the scale of the 77 means she enjoys the same wonderful classic lines whilst maintaining internal volume and headroom.
Designed and developed to emulate the Big Class racing yachts of the early 20th Century.
